Grammys dress code: Jennifer Lopez and others walk a fine line (Photos)

A Grammys dress code was issued to the stars for the show that aired Feb. 13, 2013 on CBS. As reported at E! Online, on Feb. 7, the dress code was released to avoid a "Janet Jackson–esque wardrobe malfunction."

The dress code advised: "Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure."

Jennifer Lopez, for example, wore a black Anthony Vaccarello gown. The gown showed off her left arm, but also, her entire right leg, reminiscent of the look Angelina Jolie displayed when she wore a black velvet Atelier Versace gown at the 2012 Oscars.
