The Grammys 2013 airs Sunday night on CBS and prior to the actual awards show, a pre-telecast announcement of about 70 winners will be streamed online. Los Angeles Times reports Feb. 9 that the early winners will be announced Sunday afternoon.
For the three-hour Grammys 2013 event at L.A.'s Staples Center, only ten awards will be given out. As music fans know, this is for honoring legendary musicians and featuring pop stars.
Where can music lovers go to hear who the other numerous Grammy Awards winners are? They will be streamed online at Grammys.com and CBS.com from 1 to 3:30 p.m., Pacific Time. David Alan Grier -- who is nominated for a musical theater category for the play, "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" -- will host the event at the Nokia Theatre.
A number of winners in multiple genres of music aren't announced during the televised portion of the Grammy Awards.
The Grammy Awards 2013 will air Sunday, Feb. 10 on CBS at 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., ET/PT. For viewers in Portland, Ore. and along the West Coast, the show will have tape delay. The Grammys will air on Portland's KOIN Local 6.
