The Grammys 2013 date and time is set for Sunday, Feb. 10 in Los Angeles, with music's best and brightest ready to claim their awards. Among the performers and nominees for this latest edition of the Grammy Awards will be off and on couple, Chris Brown and Rihanna.
A report on Feb. 9 from Hollywood Life notes that Chris Brown's ex, Karrueche Tran, will also be in attendance at the awards show, which could make for an interesting scenario. A source close to the model says she is going to support Chris though, rather than try to cause a scene. The inside source said:
"She knows Chris will be there and so will Rihanna, but she’s doesn’t care about all that drama — she just wants to go to enjoy the festivities, the crowd and the music that the Grammys bring."
The source added that Karrueche "likes music and wants to be part of the night," suggesting that "if Rihanna gets up there and kills it, Karrueche will share with a few claps." The source suggests Tran won't be there to start any drama.
Rihanna is one of the night's performers, and is listed twice on the performance schedule, once as a solo artists, and another time as part of a trio with Bruno Mars and Sting for three songs. Meanwhile, she's also up for several awards including Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Short Form Music Video, and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z for her song "Talk That Talk." Chris Brown is nominated for just one award for Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Fortune."
The 2013 Grammy Awards show time is set for 8 p.m. EST on Sunday night. Roanoke viewers can watch on Cox Cable Channel WDBJ 7, the local CBS affiliate station.
