Carrie Underwood donned a $31 million necklace absolutely dripping in diamonds for the Grammys 2013 on Sunday night (Feb. 10), but it's good to know she keeps things like that in perspective.
"This is worth more than me, and everything I have, and have ever had and ever will have," Carrie Underwood joked while speaking with Access Hollywood on the 2013 Grammy Awards red carpet. Despite the wild price tag, the country starlet said she didn't have security guards assigned to her, at least not that she knew about. Carrie joked that perhaps there were a few guards, but they were just so good at their jobs that she didn't know they were there!
Grammys 2013 Fashion: Carrie Underwood Rocks a $31 Million Necklace
Carrie Underwood, whose song "Blown Away" won a couple of Grammys on Sunday, shared that the $31 million necklace she wore to the Grammys weighed in at a whopping "381 carats of gorgeousness". The necklace, on loan from Johnathon Arndt, featured several distinct cuts of diamonds, including oval, marquise and round.
The effect was stunning and very, very sparkly. We could say the necklace Carrie wore to the Grammys shone like a million stars on the darkest, most moonless night, or like the tips of a thousand breaking waves caught by early morning sunlight, but 'sparkly' pretty much sums it up.
