Robert Plant will be rockin' the stage at DAR Constitution Hall tonight. Plant is an English rock singer/songwriter and lead vocalist of the rock band . Led Zeppelin is one of the founding bands of the rock revolution in the 70's.
After Led Zeppelin's breakup in 1980, Robert Plant has had a successful solo career. In 2007, Plant released Raising Sand. The album was a mixture of Hard rock, heavy metal, blues-rock, folk rock, world, and country rock. The album an international triumph for Plant. It debutted at #2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Country Albums chart. Was certified Platinum in many countries.
The albums first single, "Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)", won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the 50th Grammy Awards. The 2009 51st Grammy Awards, the album won five Grammy’s:

- Best Contemporary Folk Album
- Record of the Year (for "Please Read the Letter")
- Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (for "Rich Woman")
- Best Country Collaboration with Vocals (for "Killing the Blues").
