GRAMMY UPDATE: Ringo gets passed by for Grammy

Ringo Starr didn't win the Surround Sound Album Grammy he was nominated for. On the pre-Grammy online telecast stream, his "Ringo 5.1: The Surround Sound Collection" was beaten out by "Mussorgsky: Pictures At An Exhibition; Night On Bald Mountain; Prelude To Khovanshchina" by Paavo Järvi & Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Ringo's nomination was the fifth of the pre-telecast Grammys to be awarded.

Paul's Solo Rock Vocal Performance nomination is 94th on the list of 100 awards to be given out at the pre-telecast Grammys, so there's a bit of a wait.

Yup. It would have been a nice bit of good news if he had won.

It's a shame Liverpool 8 wasn't nominated for either album or single,it was such a great song.
It was nice to at least see Ringo nominated for something.
But both Paul and Ringo should have been nominated for the great studio work they have done.
