Grammy nominees The Lumineers are from Ramsey (Video)

Folk rock band The Lumineers who are nominated for a Grammy Award as Best New Artist operate out of Denver, Colorado but came together originally in Ramsey, New Jersey.

The band records for Dualtone Records and got a major boost in visibility when their song 'Hey Ho' was used in The CW television series Hart of Dixie. That song would be the first single from their self-titled debut album which would go on to peak at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The band is fronted by Wesley Schultz (guitar and vocals) and includes drummer /percussionist Jeremiah Fraites, and Neyla Pekarek (cello, piano, mandolin and vocals).

Also nominated for Artist of the Year: Frank Ocean, Fun., Alabama Shakes, and Hunter Hayes.
