The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! show gave the public a peek of who the Grammy Awards 2010 nominees will be. The show featured big-time celebrities like Nick Jonas and took place in Los Angeles.
The one-hour broadcast show on CBS was hosted by LL Cool J. His name fitted his personality perfectly, since he appeared cool in his black hat. He sang some songs, entertaining the audience throughout the Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! show. This one-hour broadcast is a countdown to the 2010 Grammy Awards, which will take place on Jan. 31, 2010 at Staples Center.
The show went over who were the nominees for a Grammy Award. Grammy Awards come into a few separate categories such as “The Best Recording of the Year.” Jay Z, Sugarland, the Jonas Brothers, Eminem, Lady GaGa, Black-Eyed Peas and Maxwell were some of the nominees mentioned.
Teenagers in the audience screamed loudly when they heard Nick Jonas' name over the loudspeaker. Nick Jonas was the biggest cheese in the show. The Grammy-nominated Jonas Brothers have been busy touring worldwide, but the whole family were present at the show. Kevin, Joe and their parents sat at a table nearby the stage. They clapped with the beat when Nick strummed on his guitar on stage, singing “?Who Am I?”
Nick Jonas created a new side project, called Nick and the Administration. Joe and Kevin both introduced Nick's new project briefly during the show in front of the camera, right before Nick appeared on stage with his guitar. Teenagers and kids waved and cheered loudly with their neon lights, which came in different colors such as green, pink and orange. Some of them were wearing shirts that showed pictures of the Jonas Brothers.
Grammy-Award winning Sugarland and Grammy-nominated Maxwell sang some songs on Dec. 1 in front of LA Live's Christmas Tree, as part of the pretaping for The Grammys Nominations Concert Live!! Their segment appeared a few times on T.V. screens during breaks between musicians on stage during the show. Maxwell's voice was so beautiful, which made it easy to forget the world for a moment.
Club Nokia had an awesome light display which would change colors and shapes throughout the show. There were bubbles, neon colors, and other designs which added excitement to the show. The show closed with a huge snowfall of confetti with a group of rappers entertaining the audience.
