The 2010 Grammy nominations were announced Wednesday night; the Grammy Awards will air live on CBS January 31, 2010 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Beyonce leads the 2010 Grammy nominations with an outstanding 10 nominations including album of the year, record and song of the year, from her 2008 release I Am...Sasha Fierce.
Taylor Swift had eight nominations, including album of the year, and record and song of the year. Taylor Swift was the recent winner of the American Music Awards Artist of the Year, and the Country Music Award for Entertainer of the Year.
Lady GaGa has five nominations for songs from her debut album The Fame, but best new artist was not among the nominations.
