The four-time Grammy-nominated Australian band Newsboys were met with an unexpected surprise during their concert in Manilla recently according to their Facebook announcement on Feb. 5.
Their 2013 "God's Not Dead Tour," which includes three No. 1 hits from their "God's Not Dead" album was met with such appreciation from fans in Manilla that they choreographed a dance routine to impress the singers before them.
On the group's Facebook page they asked readers to "Check out this video we took from over the weekend! Manilla goes all out!"
The concert was held in the Cathedral of Praise in Manilla, Philippines, and from a Christian concert perspective one might not expect to see the audience dancing with the band they've come to here. However, Christian rock bands like the Newsboys tend to motivate fans to get out of their seats and move.
In Manilla the fans appeared to take it one step further, entertaining the group that came to entertain them by dancing in almost-perfect harmony throughout the building. But the less than a minute clip doesn't really do the band or song justice, but this "God's Not Dead" Video of the group does, highlighting why the Australian turned American band keeps climbing the music charts.
