When it comes to worship it is well known that Gospel recording artist Deitrick Haddon is going to make you move, feel and get in the mood to praise. "I think it is a gift from God to be able to draw people and connect people," Haddon told me during a recent conversation. "I can't take any credit for it. My passion has always been young people and getting them stirred up for Christ."

The world got to see that passion manifest itself in the official introduction of his newest project the League of Xtraordinary Worshippers during the opening of this year's BET Celebration of Gospel which aired Sunday, April 6, 2014.

With the formation of LXW he shows the world why young people are not to be written off when it comes to worship and setting an example. In their single GREAT GOD they begin the song by proclaiming "Let the world know you serve a great God." In other words this is something to be celebrated, not hit.

What makes God so great and worthy to be praised? You have only to look at the way He cares for us as His creation and children. "All through the day and through the night," LXW sings, "there are angels watching over my life. i'm not afraid of the terrors that might come through the night." Individuals of faith have no reason to fear what the enemy might bring our way. We know that God is great enough to cover us regardless of the attack.

"Ain't nobody like him," LXW reminds us. No matter where you look, there is no one that can do for us what our Heavenly Father is able to accomplish. For this reason along LXW's single GREAT GOD gives us yet another reader to praise God for being all that He is and is doing in our lives.
