Grammy-nominated Damien Sneed releases compilation CD on new label (Photos)

Singer, songwriter, producer and Grammy Award nominee Damien Sneed is making significant impact with the release of a compilation CD on his newly created independent record label, LeChateau Earl Records. The disc features selections from his own "Introspections" CD as well as "Kingdom Victory Live," the musical debut of renown preacher and visionary, Bishop Iona Locke. Radio has embraced "Here With You," which features Light Records recording artist Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper as well as the song, "Broken to Minister."

"Broken to Minister," was written by Sneed and performed by his group, the Levites at the Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference earlier this month. The group made quite an impression and earned top honors at the Gospel Heritage Talent Showcase.

The Howard University graduate followed his stint as Music Director for Season 4 of BET's Sunday Best with a performance alongside Wynton Marsalis in London at the Barbican in the opening celebration of the 2012 Olympics. Sneed made his Carnegie Hall debut performing as a featured soloist in the work, Fier Herzog for piano & orchestra by composer Diogo Pereira. In December, he ministered in Spain with the Coro de Gospel de Madrid.

On inauguration day Damien served as music director for Rhonda Ross (daughter of iconic superstar Diana Ross) at the Second Inaugural Ball of President Barack Obama.
