The Grammy dress code was completely ignored at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. CBS decided to let the stars know that the arrival and performances needed to shy away from showing too much skin and suffice to say the celebrities completely blew it off on Sunday night. Katy Perry, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys and others obviously didn't appreciate being told what to do.
As some fans will point out, the idea of having a dress code is ridiculous. In today’s world where people want to see fashions and styles, it’s impossible to be restriction into place that hinders creativity. Especially at an award show that is expected to honor those artists who live in a creative world.
So who were these terrible Grammy dress code violators? Well, the ladies were stars who are heard every day on the radio and surprisingly, not one man on the list. It appears that the memo from CBS was focused on women more than men and the adequately covered language was mostly for the ladies.
