Grammy Awards restructuring announced:Gospel categories impacted

On April 6th, The Recording Academy announced the restructuring of the categories for the Grammy Awards. The changes will be implemented next year at the 54th Grammy Awards. The minimum number of entries per category will increase from twenty-five to forty. The number of categories will be reduced from 109 to 78. These changes will certainly impact the DC gospel community as well those across the nation. Some categories have been consolidated and some eliminated.
