The 2013 Grammy Awards is the premiere event in the music industry. Some of the sexiest and hottest artists, representing all genres of music, commence for a night of performance, recognition and celebration.
This year's award show will air on the CBS Network. The Network issued a general statement to all Grammy Nominees and Presenters, on Feb. 7, 2013.
The CBS message advises award participants of very specific fashion restrictions, and a dress code, for the 2013 award's event.
Award shows are synonymous with bold and colorful fashion. Some of the music industry's stars are known for their bold or off-the-wall fashion sense.
These performers work hard for those perfect bodies and they are not shy about showing it off.
CBS writes, "CBS Standards and Practices to the night's performers and presenters. The e-mail goes into excruciating detail as to what must be covered, including "bare fleshy under the curves of the buttocks and buttock crack" and "bare sides or under curvature of the breasts."
Appropriate clothing was also outlined, including a ban on "sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."
The CBS dress code offers fashion guidelines, but fashion is a personal expression of creativity, in an industry based on creativity.
The most important aspect of the event, is winning one of the illustrious awards. Winning a Grammy Award gives the artist a distinction of greatness in his or her music career. The winners in this year's event, will join the ranks of the most legendary stars in the music industry.
