Graco has issued a recall on three of its popular strollers. The Graco Passage, Alano, and Spree travel systems and strollers are affected by the recall. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website, "only strollers or travel systems with a plastic, jointed hinge mechanism that has indented canopy positioning notches are included in this recall." You can check the model number of your travel system on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website to see if your particular system is part of the recall. They have model numbers and images available on the site.
The items are recalled because the hinges on the canopy can pose a laceration or amputation threat.
If you believe your stroller or travel system may be affected, stop using it immediately and contact Graco at (800) 345-4109 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit Graco's website.
