Gracie Gold can be seen almost everywhere thanks to Sports Illustrated magazine as the athletes is on the cover. The athletes was named a rising star before her journey to the 2014 Sochi Olympics and she is expected to do well in Russia. The star was one of five athletes picked for covers of the popular magazine. According to Just Jared on Thursday the 18-year-old figure skater was chosen along with snowboarders Arielle Gold and Jamie Anderson, and skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Bode Miller.

“Thx @ SInow for naming me one of your #SIRisingStars. SO appreciative! Can’t wait to represent #TeamUSA!” tweeted Gracie Gold from her official Twitter account. The Star definitely has people paying attention to her quickly rising fame.

Gracie Gold has been very focused on practicing and making her routine the best. Looking to fine-tune her moves and make her actions on the ice feel flawless, the star definitely seems ready. While the journey to Sochi has to be full of pressure, the figure skater seems to be taking on the task very well.

While Gracie might be on the cover of Sport Illustrated, but she still has much to prove when it comes to Olympic figure skating. After a very controversial decision to be on Team USA, the skater needs to win over fans. Of course the only way to do that (or perhaps the easiest way) is to bring home the gold.
