A quick update on Grace, the little terrier mix we reported about last week. She is progressing well, although as we noted her recovery will take time. The burns she suffered were not confined to her head as was originally thought, but covered most of her legs, feet, and chest. The pattern would seem to indicate she may have been lying on her back in a submissive posture when the incident occurred. Regardless, sweet little Grace hasn't lost her trust in people. She is already beginning to heal and is settling into her foster home.
Did you happen to see Grace make her television debut this morning on Good Morning Texas? Paws In The City's Tara Harper and GMT co-host Amy Vanderoef discussed tomorrow night's Martinis For Mutts fundraiser and introduced the audience to several Paws In The City dogs looking for new homes, including Grace who clearly made a huge impression on the animal-loving co-host.

It may be awhile before Grace is ready for a permanent home, but it would be wonderful is someone was ready to step up for her when the time comes.
