You've often been told (and no doubt offered) this advice: Laughter is the best medicine! So why not write a prescription for healthfulness today and tell a joke or two? After all, today is the day for it! According to Psychology Today's website, laughter improves relationships between men and women: married people who laugh more are happier and stay married longer. Seriously speaking, International Joke Day exists to promote the spread of joy and laughter throughout the world. No one knows for sure the origins of the celebration, but with so much to worry about, who needs a reason to share humor with others? Laughter, like yawning, is contagious. So why not start a trend?

Post a joke here and share with the world on International Joke Day! If you're having trouble coming up with a joke, try Yahoo! Kids - it's good clean fun, and funny too!
