Governor Rick Snyder is set to sign his first bill into law since taking office in January. The Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) will become law and is a tool to help Michigan Farmers voluntarily reduce the negative environmental risks associated with farming.
With signing the bill into law, Governor Snyder is taking another step in his “reinvention” of Michigan. Michiganders don’t always agree on the best way to ensure prosperity, but one thing is for certain…Michigan has been “blown away” for the last eight years under Governor Grandhom, which proved to be less than fruitful. Now let’s “reinvent” our great state and bring pride in a-job-well-done, back to Michigan.
