Governor’s Ball Music Festival line-up is announced

On January 15, Governor’s Ball announced the line-up of artists that will be featured at its fourth annual music festival which is set to take place in Randall’s Island Park, New York over the course of Friday June 5—Sunday June 7.

Headlining the bill will be a reunion of the former hip-hop duo Outkast including Jack White, Phoenix, and the Strokes. For those who missed out on tickets for Skrillex’s Brooklyn ‘Takeovers’ shows this February, will have an opportunity to catch the artist at any one of the three sets that he will be performing each night at the festival. In addition, former Swedish House Mafia members Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso will be reuniting on stage, while Classixx, and La Roux, will also be making appearances as well.

Known for its eclectic mix of music, art, and entertainment each year, the festival continues to feature a range of: Electronic Music, Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Americana, Dub-Step, and Pop all weekend long at a total of four stages.

When taking a break from the music, fans can admire the featured art installations, have their face painted, play lawn games, or capture the day at one of the various photo booths around the festival grounds.

Box Office Hours

The box offices, located at the entrances to the festival at the Harlem River Event Area on Randall’s Island, will be open for will-call pick up and ticket purchases (if still available) from 11:00am until 10pm on Friday June 6th, Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th.

Times:

  • 11:00 a.m. – Buses and Ferries Start Running to Island
  • 11:00 a.m. – Box Office Opens
  • 11:45 a.m. – Festival gates open
  • 12:15 p.m. – Music starts
  • 10:00 p.m. – Box Office Closes
  • 11:00 p.m. – Music ends
