The federal government shutdown is now officially over. Or it is over for another three months.
Federal employees are getting back to work. Everglades National Park is now open and all federal offices and services are back in operation.
"I think this whole shutdown shows just how out of touch Congress is with the American people. The people in Washington just don't know what working people are facing on a day to day basis," said Kim Simon.
"Maybe people in Congress should spend a day to two working a real job and then they would know how the government shutdown affected people," said Brian Womack.
"I hope the Congress can get its act together so this does not happen again," said Ricardo Hernandez.
