According the Times Online In the UK “Health and safety inspectors are to be given unprecedented access to family homes to ensure that parents are protecting their children from household accidents”.
This police power comes from the UK Department of Health and it has nothing to do with child abuse. The reasoning is children get hurt while at home and since the "health-care system" has determined they must now control the cost from these injuries, basic rights have been trampled.
This is just invasion of someones home under the guise of "health-care". The Obama-Pelosi plan H.R. 3962 - Affordable Health Care for America Act like the U.K. plan establishes "home visitation" or more accurately "police powers".
From page 1187: "IN GENERAL.—The Secretary shall, by grant or contract, provide for the conduct of an independent evaluation of the effectiveness of home visitation programs receiving funds provided under this section"
H.R. 3962 will create a “Advisory Committee” appointed by the president. The committee will recommend program standards and these recommendations will bypass approval by Congress and become law.
This health care bill is a mandate to comply with the federal government and nothing else. It will greatly alter your rights on matters having nothing to do with health care. Say no to this kind of government control in Wyoming!
Governor Freudenthal has remained silent on Health care, no surprise but he has confirmed his agreement with Obama on these issues: international green building codes, climate change, energy and let us not forget this - Frudenthal said about Obama's Second Amendment positions "He's in the right place with it," and "Remember, rights are not unlimited".
