Governor Rick Scottis pleased with the increase in jobs being created in Florida. This is a quote from a Janaury 7 radio address. "Last month we learned that Florida created over 200,000 private-sector jobs since December 2010.That’s over 200,000 Floridians who can now support their families because they have found a job in our state. Our state’s unemployment rate has declined to 8.1 percent – a four year low. Florida’s consumer confidence is also near a five-year high, and home sales are on the rise again," said Scott.
"This is all great news for Florida families. While we can all be proud this success, we still have work to do. Our state is headed in the right direction, our work is not done until every Floridian who wants a job can find one," said Scott.
"2013 is going to be a great year and we will continue to work to ensure that Florida families can find jobs, get a great education and enjoy a low cost of living," said Scott.
