According to on Jan. 26, the "Gotham" TV series is reportedly or rumor has it that the first villain to be portrayed in the series would be Oswald Cobblepot, otherwise known as The Penguin. It would be no surprised, but some may think he'd be one of the first recognizable villains that comes to mind when it comes to Batman's adversaries.

The "Gotham" series takes place prior to Commissioner Gordon's career achievement as he's currently portrayed and displays more of a young Gordon getting his start in the GPD. There had been other hopes that Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman, would me making an appearance.

When Aaron Eckhart was approached about him appearing again as a younger Two Face in the TV series, he stated what he had already done in Christopher Nolan's film was enough for him and that advice given for anyone who plays Two Face would give it his all and not to play it so "tongue and cheek".

Interstingly enough, htere is a stunning similarity between comedic actor Patton Oswalt and the character he played in a satiric episode for the College Humor website.
