'Gotham' has announced cast members playing Penguin, Alfred and more

Over the lasy two days, Feb. 11 and 12, Fox has released the names of multiple cast members that will be joining their Batman themed show, "Gotham".

Previously, they announced that Ben McKenzie had landed the role of Det. Gordon and just a few days later there are multiple releases of characters and the stars that will play them.

First, Donal Logue has been cast as Detective Harvey Bullock. Det. Bullock has been written as a cop who pushes the boundaries of the law and police procedure. He is prone to actively abusing his power as a police officer and it has been eluded to that he may be corrupt. He is usually the police officer that actively hates Batman. In this show, Donal will playing Det. Bullock and his role in Det. Gordon's rise to power in Gotham.

Donal Logue has played Lee Toric in "Sons of Anarchy" and Brendan Donovan in "Copper".

Second, Robin Lord Taylor, of "The Walking Dead" and " Law and Order" fame is cast to play Oswald Cobblepot. Cobblepot, who fans know as the Penguin will be introduced as the right had to mobster Fish Mooney. The character is described as polite but with a sadistic thirst for power.

The third cast member that has signed is Sean Pertwee, a British actor who is famous as a voice actor for video games such as Assassin's Creed, Fable, and Kill Zone. He has been the loyal butler of the Waynes and now he has to step in and take care of Bruce in light of their death.

The four cast member is Erin Richards who is set to play Barbara Kean, Det. Gordon's fiance. Barbara is an ER doctor who is the one person that Jim can trust.

The other actress that will be joining the show is Zabryna Guevara, who will play Captain Essen, Det. Gordon's boss.

"Gotham" will be airing in the fall and will look at Gotham before Batman. The show will begin with Det. Jim Gordon and his rise to power as he meets many of Batman's villains before they become big.
