Gotham City Sirens #16

from comicartcommunity.com

The Solicit:
Is The Riddler friend or foe? One thing's for sure – he definitely isn't making life easy for Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn!

I Say:
The solicit has very little to do with this issue. It’s enough to say that following the questionable Death of Batman and Battle for the Cowl crossovers, author Paul Dini has used titles like this one to continue to expand and enrich his vision of Gotham, without having to deal directly with the confusion of who’s really driving the Batmobile these days. The dialogue is glib, the art is pleasant, and Dini’s grasp of the Batman characters is as strong as its ever been in his nearly twenty-year, award-winning involvement in the franchise.

Verdict: HIT!
