'Gotham' casting news: David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne and Donal Logue as Bullock

David Mazouz has been "Touch" by FOX once more, as the young actor wins the covet role of Bruce Wayne in Gotham, reported.

As a child, Bruce Wayne lost his parents Thomas and Martha to a violent crime, and is now under the care and guidance of family butler Alfred Pennyworth and Gotham City police detective James Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie), the two men who will help young Bruce shape his destiny into becoming the brooding Batman, Gotham City's Dark Knight Detective against evil and injustice.

Mazouz may be best known for his role as Jake Bohm, Kiefer Sutherland's gifted, autistic son in Touch, which was canceled last year after two seasons.

Also joining Gotham is Donal Logue in the role of Harvey Bullock, a maverick cop who serves as mentor and partner to Gordon, who will become police commissioner of Gotham City and friend/ally to Batman, whom Bullock dislikes due to the Caped Crusader's willingness to operate outside the law as a masked vigilante.

Logue has been a regular on Grounded for Life, Sons of Anarchy, Life, Terriers, Copper, and Vikings.
