Gotcha Covered fine linens are worthy of a well-made bed

Here at Home and Living we believe that sleep is one of the most important elements in our lives. This is what we do for ourselves that allows our bodies to repair, keeps us thinking clearly, helps to maintain weight control and makes us do our best. There are too many people these days who are sleep deprived. That's why when we receive anything to do with bedroom comfort, we perk up with anticipation.

Today we are talking about Gotcha Covered, a new sheet manufacturer that we like very much.

Features we like:

  • the soft sheen on 100% cotton
  • fits for a deeper mattress
  • ease of wash
  • smooth to the touch
  • exclusive bands, called Smarty-BandZz that keep sheets in place

By the way, we did wash ours prior to using. We had thought perhaps that the BandZz that help to secure the sheets to the mattress might get in the way of the agitator but our washing machine accepted the sheets without any problems or twisting. The instructions are: machine wash warm with like colors; use only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low. Medium iron.

We used a dryer unfamiliar to us and would change the setting to a lower dry, for a little longer time, next time. We did iron ours (see photo). We would iron these again because we like the feel of a flatter, smoother sheet--although if you like a slightly rumpled feel, that's your option.

After having spent some time in these, we love the ivory color as it is restful and blends in nicely with our gold hammered summer comforter. We also appreciate the fact that the cases are generous, fit well, and have an envelope feature.

Take a look at this product, a set that fits up to an 18" mattress, has a luxury 618 thread count--in the luxe collection--and this is a USA-based company (which makes us equally happy). Retails for $116 to $196.
