Got video skills? Buck Hill is calling you

If you enjoy snowboarding and skiing, and like to experiment with video, Buck Hill is looking for you. The ski area is hosting the third annual Buck Hill Video Contest. The area emphasizes that "This is a video contest and judging is based on video creativity not skiing or snowboarding ability." In other words, use your video skills to tell a story, make an impression, and otherwise provide some eye candy.

The resort gets a Facebook juice from the contest, including good coverage and "likes." Contestants get their work exposed to a greater audience, including Buck's YouTube Channel. Videos also appear on BuckHill.TV, which is run in the main lodge.

The top six videos win awards ranging from $20 gift certificates (Buck Hill Bucks) to a pair of Zeal Optics HD Camera goggles.

You can submit your entry by uploading it to BuckHill.TV, or by dropping a DVD off at the resort. Buck will accept videos until February 28.
