Got tweens? Then Walt Disney World has plenty of activities for your family

Walt Disney World is often seen as a place for family with young children, and indeed it fulfills that role nicely. The Magic Kingdom, and especially Fantasyland, are great for little kids, and all the parks have special rides, activities, and play areas geared toward them.

But Disney isn't just for the younger set. Click the video accompanying this article to learn more about what tweens can enjoy at the parks and how they can get involved by helping to plan the family vacation.

As you'll learn from the presentation, which took place during the recent Seven Dwarfs Mine Train media event, tweens are playing an ever-expanding role in deciding where their families go for vacations. They also value the family time spent together on trips to places like Walt Disney World. The parks have more exciting rides that appeal to their age group, and many Disney hotels have suites or villas that hold larger families quite comfortably.
