Blake Lively and Leighton Meester hit up New York City this week, but for two different reasons. According to Heatworld, Lively attended the Noon by Noor show at AW12 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Meester took the time to attend a screening of the film “The Woman Dress.” Both stars of “Gossip Girl” were wearing high-fashion though, obviously showcasing the different styles that have garnered them many fans.
Lively’s outfit (pictured to the left) has drawn a lot of attention already this week. The Daily Mail called her a “sexy scientist” in the outfit, relating it to a lab coat rather than a high-fashion coat. The look appears to have gained some popularity though, because Alyssa Miller also wore it on Wednesday night (Feb. 15) to help celebrate Kate Upton’s Sports Illustrated cover. Lively wears it well, so don’t get surprised if this becomes a look that non-celebrities start picking up very quickly around major cities.
This has been a pretty good week for Lively already, especially after Christian Louboutin gave Lively his entire spring collection of shoes. Talk about catering to a girl’s heart and giving her what amounts to a dream scenario for most women around the world. She told People Magazine, “They’re amazing. I walked around my apartment wearing them.” When asked about her favorite, she stated that they were, “These cage, crystal-encrusted shoes and one with a feather detail coming off of it.” Talk about stylish.
