Kim Walker-Smith makes her solo return after five years, Madelyn Berry delivers an album filled with great music and great friends and hip hop artist Skrip debuts a free album for the masses. Here is the new music that debuted today, Tuesday, Jan. 15.
"Still Believe"- Kim Walker-Smith. The second solo album was recorded live with a full band, including an orchestral strings section, during a night filled with radical worship for Jesus at the Cascade Theater in Redding, CA. The album features primarily original songs, with Walker-Smith co-writing two songs and writing the title track.
“Release the Sound”-Madelyn Berry. Famed gospel singer Darwin Hobbs joins Madelyn on "Sound of a Worshiper" and popular praise and worship leader Martha Munizzi shares the stage with Berry on the beautiful song, "You Are God". Other memorable cuts include "The Worship Medley" (with LaRue Howard), "Reveal Your Glory (featuring Trent Cory)", "Remain A Worshiper" and an unforgettable rendition of "Break Every Chain." The CD's lead single, "Freedom Today", was released last month.
“Limitless”-Planetshakers. The new 13-track CD and bonus DVD from Australia’s Planetshakers, the country’s largest youth and young adult movement is their 25th album. Features the driving title song which is also the first music video from the recording.
"Talented 10th"-Sho Baraka. The project is Sho’s first full-length album as an independent artist. Songs include "Mahalia" featuring Duce Banner,“Nicodemus” and“King," featuring Lizi Bailey and Tedashii.
The Und_rscore II"- Skrip. This is free album promises to leave a lasting impact on listeners. The Chicago emcee/producer is also offering fans a free download of "Say," an inspiring song about standing out for what you believe as truth, while being vocal in the midst of chaos. Reach Records artist Andy Mineo comes along for the ride.
“Shine"- Sheri Jones Moffett. This is the first single from the singer’s sophomore album, "Power and Authority: Live in Memphis" set to debut this spring.
