A church choir filled with powerful voices debuts an album that will make certainly make hearts sing and one of the most well-known worship leaders of our time releases another album filled with worship and unforgettable collaborations. Here are the albums and singles released today, March 19.
“Reverend Floyd Flakes presents The Worship Experience”- The Greater Allen Cathedral. The 10-track album contains some new and some that are familiar with fans. The project includes a beautiful cover of Walter Hawkins’ “Jesus Christ is the Way” with lead vocals by Delores Bowman; an unforgettable rendition of “Psalm 63” with lead vocals by Reverend Darius Thomas and “Be Glorified,” a soaring up tempo with lead vocals by Linwood Smith Jr. The album closes with “Your Grace,” a song reminiscent of the sound of storefront churches in the 60’s and 70’s. The album’s first single is “Greater” featuring Michael Pugh and is climbing the charts.
“Revealing Jesus” - Darlene Zschech. This latest album from the most prominent female worshipper features special guest appearances, as well as co-writes with Michael W. Smith, Kari Jobe and Israel Houghton. The live recording also captures a compelling performance by the Alabama School of Fine Arts, based in Birmingham. In addition to the 12 new worship anthems on the "Revealing Jesus" CD/DVD, bonus tracks in custom versions of the album include new versions of internationally acclaimed songs as “Shout to the Lord,” “Hosanna” and “Worthy is the Lamb,” as well as the Houghton-penned “Jesus at the Center.”
“The First 10 Years Collection”- Gateway Worship. The album includes the popular “Revelation Song,” as well as “The More I Seek You,” “You, You Are God” and “Come Thou Fount, Come Thou King.” The songs are led by worship pastor Thomas Miller along with Gateway Worship members Walker Beach, Sion Alford, David Moore, Zach Neese, Jason Tam and Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist Kari Jobe.
