Author and noted gospel jazz artist, Terrence Richburg is prepared to celebrate the upcoming holiday, Valentine’s Day, with a book signing Sunday, February 9, for his debut writing, "Intimacy: Missing ‘Peace’ In The Puzzle Of True Love & Close Relationships." Penned by the notable songwriter, producer, Stellar Award-nominated record label owner and Gospel Jazz artist, the book provides spiritual insights to help those who want more out of their relationships.

Richburg will be holding his first book signing for Intimacy on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. at Potomac Adventist Book & Health Food Store (12004 Cherry Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904 – 301.572.0700). In addition to purchasing signed copies of the book, those who attend will be treated to an acoustic set of inspirational and Gospel Jazz songs by Richburg. For more information on the book signing, call 1.888.844.7701.

"Intimacy: Missing ‘Peace’ In The Puzzle Of True Love & Close Relationships" isn’t your typical relationship self-help book. A clever mixture of fiction and non-fiction, the book includes a series of short stories as well as the author‘s own personal insights to help readers understand the importance of intimacy.

Spellbinding stories and characters like Chris and Amanda, whose dreams help them to understand what true gratitude is and Mathew Kidd, a public defender, and his wife Janet, whose narrative is nothing short of an on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller, take the reader through the twists and turns that occur in life and in relationships. Ultimately, Richburg brings us back to the origin of love, God, and explains how ideal relationships mirror God’s love for us.

In addition to Richburg’s personal experiences and the fictional narratives, he also adds music to the mix. Throughout the pages of Intimacy, the author and songwriter includes lyrics to songs which highlight the themes of the stories. The songs, which celebrate love between a man and a woman and love from God, will combine Gospel and R&B music. Richburg will be releasing multiple compilations with the new music inspired by the book in early 2014.

Known as a popular Gospel Jazz artist, Richburg is one half of Gospel Jazz duo, R&R. In addition, he is the owner of RichEscape Music, a 2009 Stellar Award-nominated label. A gifted 7-string bass guitarist, producer, and songwriter, the D.C.–based musician is also the Minister of Music at Woodstream Church in Mitchellville, MD.
