Gospel Cake: recipe found in the Bible

This should be fun! I found this Gospel Cake recipe in Kurt's Daily Muse archive: January 29, 2004.

Please let me know if any of you were brave enough to give this a try. To make things a little bit easier, I've attempted to looked up the ingredients for you. I used the New International Version of the Bible. Good luck!

Gospel Cake by Vicki Getts

1/2 c. Psalms 55:21
1 c. Eccl. 5:12
1-1/2 c. I Kings 4:22
1 c. Judges 5:25
2 c. I Sam. 30:12
2 c. Nahum 3:12
2 c. Num. 17:8
2 T. 1 Sam. 14:29
Pinch of Lev. 2:13
6 ea. Jer. 17:11
2 tsp. I Cor 5:6

1 box Rev. 10:9
1 ea. Luke 11:12
4 T. Heb. 5:12
2 T. Gen. 18:8
Flavor with Gen. 37:25

Search the Scriptures for ingredients and blend together. Bake in large loaf pan at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Mix and beat ingredients for icing until smooth. Spread on cooled Gospel cake. Share with an attitude of Gal. 5:22-23

FYI: I'm guessing that Rev 10:9 is powdered sugar and Gen 18:8 is cottage cheese! Gen 37:25 is probably cinnamon.
