Gorilla Glass still needs protection

If you have a tablet or smartphone with Gorilla Glass and it doesn't have a screen cover, stop everything you are doing. Run out and get a screen cover for your device. It doesn't have to be an expensive one. You can get a decent screen cover for your smartphone for under $10 and a decent screen cover for your tablet for under $20.

Gorilla Glass isn't supposed to scratch. Here is the shocker -- it does! Usually, the scratches aren't noticeable unless your device is under direct sunlight. But when you are using your Galaxy Note 2 or Surface Pro under the sun, you will notice the scratches and there is nothing you can do about it, except get a screen cover.

If you drop your tablet or smartphone on its face, it will scratch noticeably. A screen cover will usually protect your device. Most screen covers don't take away from the quality of the screen anymore. If you try to resell your smartphone or tablet, buyers love to hear when devices are protected by screen covers.

Am I the only one who notices scratches on Gorilla Glass devices? If not, tell us your Gorilla Glass story in the Comments section.
