UPDATE: Lizzy was humanely euthanized. She is no longer available.
Her name is Lizzy, and on intake, this four-year-old docile, female pit bull terrier came into San Bernardino City Animal Control with her puppy. On Saturday, Lizzy's puppy named Abby was removed and euthanized.
Lizzy is also overdue to be released to a safe home. Her story on Facebook has been shared 191 times, but no one has come forward to rescue this desperate lass.
Sadly, the San Bernardino City Animal Control is overcrowded, and dogs who are not adopted or fostered within a specified time period can be euthanized. Please do not allow this to happen to Lizzy.
Watch Lizzy's video, and spread her story to your friends, coworkers, and family members.
Rest in peace Abby. Your video was beautiful.
