Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay fumbled his way through denying plastic surgery allegations. Crediting his bloated, "puffy" face and hairloss to an allergic reaction in horses, the "Hells Kitchen" star recently revealed the real reason behind his horrid, new look.
GASOLINE, HORSE COMBO HAS ILL EFFECT ON RAMSAY
In a mass conference cal Thursday, Ramsay answered media questions about tabloid photos showing the 44-year-old's bloated face and hair a mess. The cause, says Ramsay, was a dangerous combination of gasoline and horses.
GORDON: "I HAD A HORRIFIC INFECTION...NOT PLASTIC SURGERY"
"I had petrol doused, gasoline poured all over my hair and I had a horrific infection," he said, explaining a sequence of his documentary filming of illegal shark fin hunting went awry. "It certainly didn't cause my hair to be falling out," he added, noting that the photos most definitely displayed a "hair nightmare".
HORSES, NOT BOTOX, GAVE ME A "PUFFY FACE"
That, says Ramsay, was due to horseback riding with his kids. While vacationing over the holidays in Napa, Ramsay says he suffered an allergic reaction to the pony playtime and has aboslutely nothing to do with plastic surgery. Which, he adds, hasn't happened since his confessed plastic surgeries in 2009.
"That all got sorted out," the famed TV chef said of his recent, rough health hops. "I can now say that I am almost 60-70 percent recovered."
