Remember back in 2010 when we, again, won the majority in the House? We thought we had elected some strong conservatives who would fight for what’s right. Boy, were we wrong!
Oh, they started off okay, but the more time passed the more we could see a pattern developing; a pattern that would soon show us that what we really elected was a bunch of RINOs. Just in case you don’t know what RINO means; it means Republican in Name Only.
What happened to all those (ahem!) conservatives who basically did what Obama did? They promised to deliver and then they did nothing. They followed in their keeper’s footsteps. Anytime pressure was applied by the progressive left, they caved. It became easier and easier each time they did.
Any backbone they had when they were elected just crumbled. Now, for the most part we have a bunch of wimpy RINOs who couldn’t stand for right if they tried. They have become a bunch of “yes” men to Obama. Anything he wants, they will find a way to sneak it in so the administration doesn’t look bad. This is probably the biggest bunch of suck-ups our Congress has ever seen.
Now that’s not saying that there are no good strong conservatives in Congress. There are, but there just aren’t enough to make a difference on the important issues with Obama at the helm. These RINOs used to be honorable; they used to work for the good of the people but that’s a thing of the past.
Do you want to know what they’re up to now? First, ask yourself, “Are you in favor of Obamacare?” If you are in the majority that say no, you are in good company. However, that means nothing to our RINO congressmen.
Now they are pushing to find Obama care while the majority of Americans want to see it defunded because it will hurt every American who has health insurance coverage they like and don’t want to lose. Of course, it will no affect the big corporations or anyone in Obama’s administration, including our RINO congressmen. They have been given waivers to exempt them from Obamacare and can keep their existing health insurance coverage.
Well, if Obamacare is so wonderful, why doesn’t everyone want to be a part of it? What gives this administration the right to single out certain people; especially members of congress, to be exempt from the very law that this congress passed?
While some true conservative Republicans are trying to pass a bill to defund Obamacare, the GOP is trying to pass a continuing resolution that fully funds Obamacare while adding a separate phony bill that defunds Obamacare.
What will happen is the phony bill will go to the Senate where the Democrats will throw out the defunding bill and send the bill that funds Obamacare to the president’s desk for him to sign.
So how do you like our congress now? If you want to stop this trick rule, get on the phone now, to your congressmen and tell them not to support any trick bill introduced by Eric Cantor or any member of the House that will allow the Senate to sever the defund rider from the Obamacare bill and vote it down without returning it to the House for final approval and instead sending the part that gives funding to Obamacare straight to the president’s desk for his signature.
We the people have the power to stop this nonsense but only if we inundate our representative’s offices with e-mails, letters, and/or phone calls in the hundreds; even thousands. If they turn a deaf ear to us, we can remove them and place others in their stead.
If you want Congress to fund Obamacare, think about all the regulations that could put your health care in jeopardy. Do you really want healthcare to be funded that has so many regulations that when they are stacked upon each other, they stand taller than a six and a half foot man? Think about it. Who has actually read everything that is in Obamacare? Do you want to wait and see how things turn out? It’s a bunch of hogwash that needs to be defunded now while there’s time.
Do your job, America! Call your representatives and tell them no trick rules for Obamacare.
