Dark, thick, syrupy, chocolaty,caramel, liquorice, and best of all bourbon. What could I possibly be describing? Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout of course!
Goose Island in honor of their 1000th batch of their original Clybourn brewpub has created this big boy of a stout beer. The beer has been aged in bourbon barrels and is a serious treat for any stout beer lover. Here's a Happy Hour or anytime recipe for someone who wants a fun way to enjoy this beer.
Bourbon Co. Float
1- cup of Goose Island Bourbon Co. Beer
2- scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream (Fat Free or Sugar free is you're looking to cut calories, but regular vanilla ice cream tastes the best)
1- small ice cream dish
Add the ice cream to the ice cream dish then pour the beer over the ice cream, and enjoy!
