Google X phone could debut in 2013

The next generation Android phone and iPhone™ slayer could be just around the corner.

There are now more reports that Google could be releasing a new Motorola (just acquired by Google) Android version this year- 2013. While not much is known at this time about the phone and Google isn't saying anything about it, there are rumors that it could be presented at the Google I/O in May.

There is lots of speculation as to what the Google X phone will have internally for components and power but nothing even vaguely available to mention at this time. The one rumor that seems to be repeated a lot is the potential flexible screen.

Jon Mundy at Trusted Reviews is reporting at one time “… that the Google X Phone was intended to have a flexible screen…”

Whether the new phone will be bendable, colorful or powerful, the Google X would be one of the first Google /Motorola projects since Google bought Motorola Mobility in 2012. It would be an interesting to see what type of product they can build and not sacrifice quality, speed and battery power.

Android vanilla fans everywhere are eager to see what comes of it. Sound off on your thoughts.
