Google Analytics for the iPhone available in the App Store now

Probably one of the most long-awaited iPhone apps SEO gurus and internet marketers have been waiting patiently for finally here. Now available in iTunes is the highly-desired Google Analytics app where webmasters, marketers and SEOs can now use to view a slew of statistical data about their website as they would if they had accessed Google Analytics from their desktop browser.

Personally I've been waiting for Google to develop and launch an app for Google Analytics for a long time, so obviously once I heard the news I gave it a try. I have to say that I was impressed right away. I use the Google Adsense app and I remember when I first started using it that I was a little disappointed with it's features.

I've come to accept the app as a general overview of earnings, traffic and basic reporting but I can safely say I was happily surprised at the reporting features the new Google Analytics app provides and kept intact inline with what the web application provides. It almost seems to provide all the features the web interface provides except for the admin functions like adding a new website and other administrative functions.

Plus, not only is it great to be able to access your account information on-the-go but you can access your client data on demand as too. The log-in screen gives you the option to choose from one of several accounts or to add another account. You can't beat that and it looks like Google definitely had agencies and web businesses in mind when they developed the app.

So if you're a business owner who uses Google Analytics on your own, an agency or a freelance SEO/marketer, make sure to check out the app so you can be in the know about your websites' traffic data any time you need to without having to use your desktop.
