Have you ever heard of gooey butter cake? It is one of the creamiest, richest, sweetest cakes you may ever taste! Here is a cookie version of the Gooey Butter cake.

Gooey Cream Cheese Cookies

  • 1 box butter cake mix
  • 1 stick organic butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1, 8 ounce pkg cream cheese, room temperature (organic)
  • 1 egg

Preheat oven to 350*.

Line a cookie sheet with no stick foil.

Combine all ingredients with electric mixer until well blended.

Chill dough for 1-2 hours.

Roll into 1 inch balls.

Roll balls in powdered sugar.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.


Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
