Cancel your Saturday plans, because Goodwill is having a 50%-off Sale tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 1 at all of its stores. Which means that its regularly (ridiculously) low-priced clothing will be discounted another 50%.
Just like I told you back in April, Goodwill should be one of the regular stops on your quest to keep yourself in cool duds. First off, it’s cheap. Really cheap. That means you can try out new styles with a minimum of risk. Secondly, you get to know you’re donating to a good cause. And thirdly, you get to donate your old and unwanted clothes back to Goodwill and keep the good times rolling for others. It’s a Win-Win situation.
Seriously, if you're willing to spend some time and be patient, you can find clothes from all sorts of great labels and at a fraction of what you'd pay in the store; Gap, Banana Republic, Express, etc., etc., etc. Some of the clothes might have a little bit of that worn look, but hey...that saves you from having to break them in!
So, hey...fall is officially here, and if you haven’t even yet considered how to update your look for the new season you better get your ass in gear. And tomorrow’s Goodwill sale is a prime place to start. Stop by any of their locations in the Indianapolis area and beyond. The best one, in this blogger's opinion, is up on Keystone Ave. near 62nd. But you better get there before I do!
