Goodbye America, Lindsay Lohan is moving to London

We have watched Lindsay Lohan go through her recovery on her very own docu-series with the OWN network and it was not all pretty as she was up and down about filming every moment of her life.

The 28 year old former child star was very clear about not wanting to be followed constantly by assigned cameras because it attracted the unwanted, chaotic paparazzi.

That may be the reason why the "Freaky Friday" star wants to jet set to London, at least that is what the former teen queen informed BBC news on Friday, July 11:

I’ve noticed when I’m watching the news here and such, you guys have such a different outlook. In the U.S., starting at 5 p.m., it’s TMZ and all of these shows that are just talking about people’s personal lives that are in the industry.”

During her career, Lohan gained the reputation of being unreliable due to her alcohol and drug abuse and received more notoriety for her mischievous ways than for her actual acting career:

I want to be known for my talents and my work that I create, rather than a tabloid sensation -- However long it does take, I'm willing to do it. I'm willing to work for it.'

Lindsay wants to leave the negativity behind and start fresh in London where she can remain focused and committed to new projects without the distraction of tabloids and television:

It’s more news and politics and music. It feels really good to be able to turn on the TV and not see everything be about gossip.'

Just like gal pal Madonna, LiLo wants to make the permanent move to London where she can put her all into her career and not miss a show or rehearsal, as she explains (missing a show) "That's not going to happen --I'm at a place in my life where I like the commitment. I'm looking forward to that part of it."

The former child model seems excited and eager about the move, but is moving to London really going to change who she is?
