Elements Bistro is a trendy, newer kid on the block in West Hartford's Elmwood section. With it's contemporary feel and delightful sounding menu items, I was routing for this place. My cheer stopped short at the door. The host was extremely rude and never once cracked a smile. Friendly service really helps to make a dining experience go a long way. Waitstaff after being seated was not much better, very slow and rushed. The noise level is extremely high as well.
None of the entrees were cooked as ordered, the meat was dry and overcooked, while items were added to dishes that were requested to be left out. However, the Apple Crisp is recommended for dessert. A full bar is also offered.
The one good thing about this place is that parking is available unlike many of the restaurants in the town center or Blue back Square.
Elements is located at 1128 New Britain Avenue.
