Robin Hamm, owner of Goodtime Kayaking loves exploring and playing in the outdoors and her love-of-play attitude is certainly contagious. While out scouting a river, she explores every nook and cranny along that run and her adventurous son and paddling companion, Josh, is just as spirited. On a Good Time Kayaking trip expect to stop and swim in a clear blue spring, take a plunge from a swing rope tied to a tree, explore side creeks by foot or vessel, search for fossils, seashells, and more. Working out of their garage here in the Tampa Bay area, Good Time Kayaking is a unique outfitter in that they are not tied to a single destination. Locally they offer trips through the mangrove tunnels of Weedon Island, the wilds of the Hillsborough River, the scenic Upper Tampa Bay Park, and out to the pristine beaches of Ft Desoto, Caledesi Island, and Anclote Key. They also frequent the Weeki-Wachee River, Halls River, Homosassa River, Peace River, and have recently added the Suwannee and Silver Rivers to their list of expertise. I myself have had the pleasure of joining them on the Caledesi Island, Weeki-Wachee, and Suwanee River paddling trips.
