"Good Luck Charlie" added a new couple to their show and it is a same sex couple. This is a first for Disney channel. On Jan. 28, US Magazine shared about this new development.

A couple named Susan and Cheryl dropped off their daughter for a play date. News came out about these big plans last year, but it took almost six months before the episode aired. This is new for Disney and may have a few children asking their parents what it means, but the network doesn't seem to mind.

They kind of laughed it off like no big deal. Bob commented about the girl having two moms. It was just not a big deal at all on the show and it shouldn't be. They handled it very well and fans are going to be happy with it. Disney said they wanted to be relevant to everyone and you know some kids have two moms.

"Good Luck Charlie" is on its final season. The last episode of this show will air on Disney in February.
