In a few weeks thousands will gather in Washington D.C. to attend the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference. The conference is in its seventh year and will focus on many topics ranging from family-sustainable jobs to repairing systems Americans rely on everyday.
The conference is known for attracting reputable community leaders, environmentalist, and reputable businesses including Alcoa, groSolar, International Paper and Iberdrola Renewable.
The conference will feature numerous workshops focusing energy systems, economic and environmental justice, building movement to green schools and regional carbon pricing.
There will also be a list of experienced speakers including Administrator from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Gina McCarthy; President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation Larry Schweiger; and Executive Director of the Sierra Club Michael Brune.
